The Anguilla Amateur Athletic Association marked the Labour Day holiday in Anguilla with a variety of competitive sporting activities in which employees from various branches of the public and private sectors participated.

The fun day events were held at the Ronald Webster Park where there was a large turn out of teams and spectators from across the island.

The overall winner, which received a trophy, was the Agriculture and Fisheries team with 52 points; Cap Juluca Hotel placed second with 51 points and was awarded with two trophies: one for having the largest team and the other for being the most organised team. The champion of the tug-war competition was won by the Charter Boats team which was presented with a trophy.

The Anguilla Amateur Athletic Association expressed thanks to all teams for their participation in the activities and all who supported them. The Association looks forward to Fun Day next year.
