AUTOMATED DIRECTORY ATTENDANT


Cable & Wireless would like to advise all its customers that from Monday 24 February 2003 they will be introducing a new service that will assist them in handling directory enquiries.

Customers who access directory enquiries by dialing 411, or the 800 number for the Customer Contact Centre, will be answered by an agent, after which the calls will be passed on to an Automated Attendant, which will then give the customers the number they have requested.

This modern state-of-the art system allows the agents to respond to customers’ requests quickly and efficiently, thereby reducing the amount of time taken to provide customers with the requested number.
