“This Evangelistic Crusade is nothing new. The spreading of the Gospel and the teaching of the Bible will be here forever,” he told his listeners. “There is no doubt that we are living in a troubled world. We have moved away from the teachings of the Bible and our Saviour. This generation that is growing up today in Anguilla, and throughout the world, need the teachings of and adherence to the Bible much more than ever before.

“I remember when I was growing up in Shoal Bay and Tom Ground, Welches, we were a God-fearing people. Today, a number of materialistic attributes have taken over the teachings we have had and the leading of our parents and grandparents. In order for us to be successful, not only as individuals, but as a nation, we have to move back to where we were and the values we cherished.”
He added that he was declaring open the crusade on behalf of all Anguillians and hoped it would have the desired effect.
