One Last Fishing Teaser Before Festival Del Mar

As Anguilla and Island Harbor denizens prepare for Festival Del Mar it might be noteworthy that Fisherman Patrick Webster is again demonstrating that there are fish to be caught. Leading up to the tournament, he is having good luck especially sense the seas are calm and the sky clear.

In this photograph (Thursday, 13 March, 2008), he displays four medium sized Wahoo and several Dolphin fish caught last week in nearby waters using his reliable catch and dynamic preservation methods. In the second photograph (Monday, 17 March 2008), three giant and one small Wahoo fish are displayed along with eight small Dolphin fish represent two very good days of fishing. Wahoo are thought to be the fastest fish is the sea and are always a thrill to catch as they often startle the fisherman when they violently hit the bait and run out many feet of line. On Monday, one of the heavy Penn Reels was completely mashed up due to a sixty pounder that stripped the gears in the reel.

Fisherman Patrick hopes to do as well on tournament day but there are several mighty fishermen ready to give him blows and comeuppance. Hopefully, the tournament will produce numerous fabulous catches and the winners carefully declared after weighing in many pounds of spectacular fish from several different boats and crews. May the weather be fair and the fish aggressive in anticipation of a wonderful festival and a bountiful fishing tournament.
