The complex is owned by John (Bob) Rogers and family and is an imposing and beautiful edifice which has come on Anguilla’s landscape at a time when office accommodation in a rapidly developing island is both scarce and demanding. One of the two remaining sections of the complex accommodates an accounting business and the other an offshore finance company of which Mr. Rogers’ son, Carlyle, is the Managing Director.

It has been arranged for the blessing and official opening of the College Development Unit to include the other two sections of the complex as well.

The College Development Project is being managed by Mrs. Dawn Reid who has responsibility for eventually implementing the Master Plan for the institution.

The College Unit occupies two areas of the Rogers’ Complex – one on the top floor and the other on the downstairs. The spacious and well-laid rooms provide accommodation for larger classes than were possible at the former location.

At present there are courses in Accommodation Management and Basic Housekeeping conducted by Karl Woodley and Aldeta Gumbs respectively; Supervisory Management by Dr. Phyllis-Fleming Banks and Human Relations by Merlin Rogers. The current training programme, which began in January, will continue until May when the examinations will be held.
