NBA Proud Of ACOCI's Best Anguilla Business Award

The National Bank of Anguilla Ltd has acknowledged that it is the proud recipient of the 2007 Anguilla Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd Best Anguilla Business Award. The award was presented by the Chamber at its annual General Meeting held at the Overlook Restaurant on Thursday January 31st, 2008.

CEO of National Bank, Mr. E Valentine Banks, was in attendance to accept the prestigious Award on behalf of the Bank. The award was announced by Ms. Melinda Goddard, Principal of Clientell Consulting LLC, who conducted the survey. This is the third time the Bank has won the award having done so in 2005 and 2006. This award comes on the heels of the Bank receiving the 2007 ECCB Good Corporate Citizens Awards in Customer Service from among the other Banks in the ECCU Area.
Mr. Banks stated: “NBA is appreciative of being named Best Business in Anguilla once again, as it serves as a motivator for the Bank to stay focused on its commitment to improve in areas where necessary and not become complacent in its achievements.” He further stated:“It is the Bank’s intention to use these achievements as motivational tools to continue working hard as it strives for continued excellence. It is an honor to receive such an award and to be recognized by our own community for providing relevant products and services and being seriously involved in community support. Our ability to accept challenges, to be innovative and open to change has led us to make appropriate contributions in all spheres on the island’s development. “Though this award confirms that the Bank is doing numerous things right, NBA will continuously strive to exemplify outstanding business practices while maintaining its commitment to exceeding customer expectations.”

Market Research & Business Development Officer at NBA, Ms. Marisa Gumbs, commented that the “NBA is indeed proud to have won the award for the 3rd consecutive year, despite some minor challenges experienced by the Bank in early 2007.” She further stated “ the Bank’s Management and Staff will continue to work hard as a team in our dedication to providing nothing but the best to our customers. We will continue to draw strength from our past successes and endeavor to surpass such achievements in our day-to-day operations.”
