Cable And Wireless Introduces New Home Plans


Cable & Wireless in Anguilla is revamping its residential fixed line service with new Home plans.

This has been told to the local media by Vice President Network Services, Larry Stott (who is also acting as Chief Executive) and Vice President Mobile and Sales, Lester Forman.

They explained that customers in Anguilla can now make fantastic savings as a result of innovative new pricing plans. These plans are only available at Cable & Wireless and feature inclusive talk minutes with big discounts off residential telephone bills.

“For some time now, mobile customers have been able to sign up for talk plans that offer a fixed number of minutes for a monthly fee,” Mr. Stott commented. “The new Home plans will allow residential fixed line customers to manage their monthly telecom expenditure on a package which includes complimentary features and discounts on international calls while earning mobile reward points.”

For just EC$70 or EC$85 (including line rental) per month respectively, Cable & Wireless Home 500 and Home 800 include 800 inclusive minutes to any fixed line number in Anguilla. Additional calls to fixed lines are competitively priced. There is also Home Unlimited where, for EC$105, customers can make unlimited local calls monthly.

“The features of the products basically include Cable & Wireless fix to fix, fix to other mobile customers which will be charged at the same rate, but the real advantage of the plan is the bundling of the land rental,” Forman explained. “When you go outside specifically under the 500 and the 800 plans, the per minute rate is equal to the weekend rate; so normally, regular customers, fix to fix in Anguilla, would pay 9 cents per minute during the regular week. In the evenings they will pay 7 cents per minute and at weekends they will pay 6 cents per minute.”

All Home customers are entitled to mobile award points which can be used to purchase new mobile handsets and accessories. Customers will receive caller ID, call waiting and voicemail as standard and Home Unlimited customers will also receive 3-way calling, call forwarding and executive voicemail.

“Residential customers can now talk more and save money, while receiving many of our most popular calling features,” Mr. Stott added.
