The crusade tent is pitched on the Welches playing field between the premises of Maxwell Vanterpool and the Welches Polyclinic.
The five preachers are Anguillians Keith Smith, Agnita Hodge and Kumal Smith and Horace Cupid of St. Vincent and Gregory Lewis of St. Lucia. The last two persons, who are residing in Anguilla, have been involved in lay crusades before. Working in cooperation with them are Senior Minister, Pastor Danny Philip, and the Ministerial Intern, Pastor Carl Hastings, who is serving in the capacity as Crusade Manager.

The crusade was declared open on behalf of Chief Minister Osbourne Fleming by Permanent Secretary, Foster Rogers on Sunday night, November 18. Mr. Rogers, who is a member of the Church, drew attention to various world events, the closing of time and the need for spiritual preparation.
Commenting on the lay crusade, Pastor Hastings said: “I am really happy to be part of this effort. Though it is not a pastoral crusade, where you have the pastor speaking, men and women who have the gift of preaching are given the opportunity to speak and to help other persons who are in darkness come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

“It is always good when we can have men and women who are co-labourers with God come together, and in a passion like this, work together for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.”
Pastor Hasting continued. “This is part of our outreach effort. We have in-reach and out-reach. In-reach is where we deal with the members of the Church. Out-reach is where we go out and try to help other men and women who we consider to be living in darkness…to come to a saving knowledge of God.”
