A small wooden house has been completely destroyed by fire in the Cauls Bottom area despite the valiant efforts of officers from the Wallblake-based Anguilla Fire Service.

The incident occurred in the early hours of November 3. The lone occupant at the time, a young man, whose name is Davidlee Hughes, lost all of his possessions.
The police, who were also at the scene, are treating the incident as a case of arson and are carrying out investigations.
