Criminal Cases in Progress in Anguilla |
The Anguilla Circuit of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court is now sitting in its criminal jurisdiction this month, October.
The court is being presided over by Justice Albert Redhead, a retired Appeal Court Judge in St. Lucia.
The list of cases includes the following: Sylvan Brooks and Peaches Richardson charged with eight counts: attempted murder, wounding with intent, robbery, theft, possession of a firearm; possession of ammunition, conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to steal.
Samuel Pogson is charged with sexual offences on a minor.
Juman Hughes is charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life; possession of a firearm without a user’s licence; possession of ammunition for a firearm without a firearm user’s licence; discharging a firearm; and discharging ammunition.
Dale Richardson, buggery; James Richardson, indecent assault.
Jim Allen is charged with having custody and control of counterfeit notes; and three counts of passing counterfeit notes.
Sheridan Jacobs and Jason Hodge (also known as Slice), are charged with having in possession a firearm with intent to endanger life; possessing a firearm without a user’s licence; possessing ammunition for a firearm; and possessing ammunition without a firearm user’s licence.
