Volleyball Returns

The bumping, setting and spiking which defines volleyball will be on display once again on June 8th as the interim committee responsible for Volleyball presents its business Volleyball league. The league which is being sponsored by the Anguilla Development board is premised on getting fit and enjoying the health benefits of sports.

Defending champions of this coveted league, Anglec lad vowed to defend their prize with much gusto. According to one player, “We have been working really hard and we plan on decimating all teams”. Despite the proposed statement by the defending champions, other competing teams are looking forward to dethroning the champions.
Ms. Heather Williams of the Interim committee has expressed gratitude for the sponsorship of the tournament by the local development agency. She is very enthusiastic about the event as many persons have been crying out for volleyball.
