The Anguilla Amateur Athletic Association is grateful to CuisinArt Resort & Spa, whose owner, Leandro Rizzuto, has given much-needed financial assistance to the sports body in support of its athletic programme this year.

The Association’s President, accompanied by his colleague, Wilma Proctor, was presented with a cheque for EC$2,700 as part of a fund-raising effort to send a number of athletes to represent Anguilla at various sporting competitions.
The competitions will include the CAC Seniors Championship in El Salvador and the PanAmerican Juniors in Brazil, both in early July; the World Youth in Czechoslovakia later in July, the North America, Central America and Caribbean Games in El Salvador and the World Championships in Japan in August.
The contribution from CuisinArt was officially handed over to President of the Athletic Association, Kenn Banks, on Wednesday this week by the resort’s General Manager, Stephane Zaharia.
