Optimist Triathlon 2007 Results

Fritz Bus of St Maarten is the 2007 Optimist Triathlon Individual Serious winner. Bus had placed third in the 2006 Triathlon.

He was followed by Saud Gomez of Mexico in second and Zdenka Kiric of St Maarten claiming third.
In the Individual Fun Under Twelve category, little Camille Poirot wowed onlookers by comfortably claiming first place.
And in the Individual Fun Fifty and Over age bracket, Ambrose Bryan of Anguilla placed first.
In the Team serious category the combination of Kirt Paul Sherwin Osborne and Adonijah Richardson from Anguilla proved difficult to beat as they claimed first place.
In second place was the team of Frank Brigulio, Kris Pradel, and Khaloni Richardson also of Anguilla.
Marlon Hughes, Travis Richardson, and Marlon Isaacs of Anguilla placed third.
In the team fun category 13 to 17 years, the team of Yasmin Ebner, Olivia Guyer, and Teresa Brooks from Anguilla placed first.
And in the Team Fun category Anguilla swept all three places.
The team of Mirabelle West, C Vannest and Jill Walker placed first followed by the team from the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service - Marlon Bryan, Elridge Richardson and Caronelle Gumbs-Romney.
Third place went to the team of Isa Manel, Bernice Brooks and Aline Guyer.
All the athletes were presented with gift packs from Cable and Wireless and gift bags from Irie Life in addtion to their respective prizes of trophies, medals or cash.
Funds raised from the Triathlon this year goes towards the Road Primary School library.
Cable and Wireless was the platinum sponsor of the event for the third year in succession.
Other major sponsors included Harney Westwood Reigel and Elodias Beach Bar.
The Optimist Club of Anguilla will be observing the tenth year of the Triathlon in 2008.
