Calvin Vanterpool Honoured

On Thursday April 19, Sol held a celebration to honour ten years of service by Calvin Vanterpool with Shell/Sol. He started with Shell as a plant attendant and is now working in Customer Service with Sol. General Manager in Anguilla, Hewlett Gumbs, introduced David Antrobus, General Manager of Sol for the Northern Caribbean.

Antrobus spoke of the importance of showing appreciation to staff, customers and dealers and reminded staff and friends present that there have been several big events for the company during the past year. The first was in May when the company launched Solgas. This was followed in November with the launching of Shell V power gasoline, in 15 countries of the Caribbean, that allows vehicles to have better performance.
He congratulated the winner of the Suzuki Grand Vitara that was raffled from tickets gained after purchasing gasoline. He said that the promotion is all part of the new energy that Sol has injected into the region, noting that consumers are important and the company aims to give back to their consumers. He thanked the customers, dealers, attendants and staff for their continued support and effort and congratulated Vanterpool on his ten years of service to the company.
