Kudos To Mr. Colville Petty

KUDOS TO MR. COLVILLE PETTY

Permit me a space in The Anguillian newspaper to extend “KUDOS” to the Historian/Curator, Mr. Colville Petty, who, as we all know, is a well-rounded gentleman who keeps you alive with laughter and seriously gives you food for thought concerning the COLD HARD FACTS OF LIFE.

He reverts and diverts, taking you to the past, the present and predicts his story way into the future.

I got the urge to HIGHLIGHT him in particular when I read his write-up, in The Anguillian of April 20th 2007, which he captioned “REAPING THE WHIRLWIND.”

Colville, you are doing a MAGNIFICENT job in educating the people at home and abroad with respect to what is happening, what has happened and what is expected to happen. “YOU ARE A REAL PROPHET.”

I would like to refer to a few of your words which I find so true: “TODAY FOR ME. TOMORROW FOR YOU.”

I realize that Anguillians accept UGLY EVILS, in a most casual manner, as if to say “I DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT! THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM!”

I admonish ALL Anguillians to wake up and smell the coffee. Look Alive, Stay Alive and, instead of criticizing, do some empathizing and focus on the realities of life. Remember, you may feel tomorrow what others feel today.

Colville, once again, keep up the good works.
I wish you every success in your future endeavous and may the ADVICE and INSIGHT that you give to ALL Speak for You.
