Minister of Finance, Victor Banks, praised the family for their contributions to the island, not only from a tourism-related perspective, but also on a social basis – youth development, a key area of Anguilla’s future.

Manager of the Yacht Club, Patricia Bygrave, praised the vacationing family on their sixth visit to Anguilla, for their generosity and for having shopped, packed and shipped the gifts for the Anguillian children.

Mr. Comparetti was pleased that two of the recipients for the second time were the Anguilla Red Cross and the Comprehensive Learning Centre at North Hill. Other organisations presented with cheques were the Anguilla Community Foundation, the Soroptimist and Optimist Clubs, the Stingray Music Awards Programme, the All Ah Wee Dance Threatre Players and the Blowing Point Youth Development Committee.
