Stewart Title Marks First Year In Anguilla

Stewart Title Eastern Caribbean has celebrated its first anniversary in Anguilla with a cocktail reception at CuisinArt Resort & Spa, short addresses by key personnel and a display of information relating to its activities.

The real estate corporation provides various services relating to property transactions and protection, title guarantees, administrative, escrow and legal services.

The office in Anguilla is managed by General Manager Phillip Kisob and is the headquarters for the company’s operations in the Eastern Caribbean.

Among those who spoke at the reception was Mr. Kisob, who gave the welcome and spoke of the company’s operations in Anguilla including the partnership established with John Benjamin and Dennis Sheehan of Caribbean Juris Chambers. He welcomed among others Malcolm Morris, Chairman and CEO of Stewart Title, Chris Hill, CEO of Latin America , and Carlos Gonzalez, Chairman of the Board for the Eastern Caribbean.

Mr. Gonzalez was of the view that there was a great future for the company in the Eastern Caribbean and he was particularly pleased to have been in Anguilla for the function marking the company’s first anniversary on the island. “We hope to continue in our way to be a blessing to you and other people,” he said. “We are not here just for purposes of growing Stewart Title. We are here to bless our local community by being a part of the positive aspects of growth in Anguilla.”

Mr. Morris spoke of the growth of Stewart Title which was established in the United States in 1893 with headquarters in Houston, Texas. He said there were 10,000 offices around the world.

Meanwhile, in a press statement, Dennis Sheehan said he and Mr. Benjamin sought to bring Stewart Title to the Caribbean because of its tremendous reputation and vision.
