The company held its first public meeting on Tuesday this week in the Training Room at the National Bank of Anguilla. It attracted a number of musicians and singers including Anguilla’s internationally-known reggae composer and singer, Bankie Banx, and other interested persons in the community.
AMPP’s Founder and Chairman, Davon Carty, introduced a number of the partners at the meeting. They were Ira Bloom, developer of the Kamique Properties Ltd where the music company’s studios will be located; Mitch Maketansky, a Music Producer; Lee Skolnick, the architect and designer of both the Kamique project at Lockrum and the music studios; Michael Millius, the Music Publishing and Intellectual Property Consultant; Marcel Fahie, who is assisting the company and whose vision was that it should be Anguillian-owned; and Alex Richardson, the company’s Attorney and a former entertainer. They all spoke about their role and interest in the project.

Those in attendance were taken through a presentation of a summary of the business plan by Ira Bloom who said it had been discussed with Government and was now being taken to the public. One of the aims is to attract financing from Anguillian interests in partnership with funding from outside the island.
Further information will be given later.
