In making the first presentation, Assistant Director of Social Security, Maglan Richardson, told the assembly of teachers and students that the Board had always been concerned that not many young people were being represented at the annual Tranquillity Jazz Festival.

As a consequence Social Security had now undertaken to donate forty tickets to the music students. She presented the tickets to Music Teacher Daphne Richardson with the hope that many students would be seen at this year’s Jazz Festival which will be held from November 9-12.
