Social Security Board Plays-a-round Of Mini Golf

Anguilla’s Social Security staff and visiting social security employees from other islands throughout the Caribbean, held a special fun filled event on Wednesday evening Nov. 1 at PLAY-A-ROUND miniature golf and more.

A great time was had by the 20 Anguillian staff members and the visiting party of 20 from Grenada, St. Lucia, Trinidad, Dominica and other neighboring islands. The evening was perfect with a cool breeze while everyone enjoyed the professional miniature golf course, streams, waterfall and the Pirates Nest.
The evening was opened by Director of Social Security, Mr. Timothy Hodge, who welcomed all the guest to PLAY-A-ROUND and hoped they would enjoy their evening at Anguilla’s premier family entertainment facility. Mr Hodge then turned the microphone over to Luke Thomas, owner of PLAY-A-ROUND. Mr. Thomas thanked the Social Security Board for choosing PLAY-A-ROUND for their special evening and encouraged all guests to participate in a round of mini-golf, with prizes for the best scoring women and men.

Dinner was catered by O’real Connor, serving a delicious choice of local dishes. After dinner the golfing began with music provided by “D. J. Legend” spinning some great sounds. Guests could be seen walking thru the park, enjoying the waterfall or testing their skill on the 18 hole miniature golf course.
