The Social Security personnel were welcomed by Elder Keith Richardson and the sermon was delivered by Evangelist Cephas Webster in the absence of Pastor Cecil Richardson.
The week of activities was officially opened by Minister of Social Security, Victor Banks, who also has responsibility for Finance, Economic Development, Tourism, Industry and Commerce.
In his radio broadcast, Mr. Banks reiterated his view that the Anguilla Social Security Board was the single most important institution for the social and economic benefit of the people of Anguilla.
An important event of the week of activities was the 6th Annul Social Security Public Lecture on Thursday, November 2 at the House of Chandeliers. It was delivered by Edmund Lawrence, Managing Director of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
The topic was: “Social Security and You – Creating the Future.”
