Heart Beat Radio On Air After Injunction |
Heart Beat Radio is back on the air following an injunction granted to the applicants and claimants Whaldama Brooks (Ras B) and Howard Gumbs (Iwandai-I) by the High Court.
The applicants/claimants have made an application to the Court without notice to Kenneth Brooks and Stephenson Rogers because of the urgency of the matter, for a declaration of ownership of the FM station which is in dispute.
The application was made last Friday. The Judge granted an injunction requiring the defendants/respondents (Brooks and Rogers) to return all the equipment and documents taken from the building and forbidding them from entering the station or interfering or obstructing its broadcasting.
The injunction expires on October 20, following which the Court will have a hearing with all parties present to determine the question of ownership.
