Mrs. Hodge is a bed-rock of the family values, hard work, discipline, friendship and hospitality that have long characterised the way of life in Anguilla to the admiration of many. Hers is a simple life, but it has helped to shape and guide the lives of a large number of persons including her family members and others, now grown, in the wider community. They owe her a debt of gratitude.

She observed her 95th birthday on Wednesday evening, July 26, surrounded by her children, grand children, great grand children, other relatives and friends. Their wish for her is for more years and continued health and strength.
