Construction Workers Awarded Certificates

Some 35 contractors and construction workers in Anguilla were awarded Certificates of Achievement after completing a one-week workshop in Management Techniques.

The course, designed to substantially improve their building skills, was a joint undertaking by the Caribbean Development Bank, the Anguilla Development Board and the Anguilla Government through the Ministry of Finance.

The workshop participants were elated about it and the new techniques imparted to them by the facilitator, Kenneth Harvey of the CDB’s private sector division, the Caribbean Technological Consultancy Services. Mr. Harvey was accompanied to Anguilla by Jerome Singh, who is also an Investment Officer.
