Cap Juluca Guests Donates Computer To Alwyn Allison Primary School
|
The Alwyn Allison Primary School is the beneficiary of a new state-of-the-art computer system, thanks to the generosity of a long-time guest of Cap Juluca.
Mr. William Sagan, who has visited Anguilla with his family and has stayed at Cap Juluca many times over the past few years, requested that Cap Juluca arrange to purchase a fully-featured desktop computer on his behalf during his most recent visit in March.

The computer was installed in Mr. Sagan’s room so as to allow him to conduct business during his eight-day stay on the island.
Upon his departure he gave the computer system to the hotel and requested that it be donated to a local school on his behalf.
The computer was presented to the Alwyn Allison Primary School in a recent ceremony on school grounds with all the students in attendance. Dr. Phyllis Fleming-Banks, Cap Juluca’s Human Resources Director, made the presentation on behalf of Mr. Sagan.
Members of the school’s Student Council, represented at the presentation ceremony by Stednisha Richardson, President; Valdeen Croft, Vice-President; and Ekeama Richardson, Seargent-at-Arms accepted the computer on behalf of the school.
Head Teacher Art Egel indicated that the students were excited when they were told that the computer was donated to the school by one of Cap Juluca’s guests, but were more elated when they got a closer look at it and saw the inner workings displayed.
The fully loaded computer is a versatile multimedia and entertainment system that includes a 19” flat screen LCD monitor, an Intel Celeron 2.80GHZ processor, a wireless optical mouse, external speakers, internal CD burner and Lexmark printer. CompNation in Anguilla supplied the system.
