Principal Bids Parents, Children Farewell

Principal at the Island Harbour Primary School, Ornette Edwards-Gumbs, has said farewell to a very helpful couple, Griffin and Johanne Webster, and their three children Gabreila, Samantha and Amanda who have left Anguilla to reside in Canada.

She praised the parents, saying they were committed to the school. According to her, they often went beyond the call of duty to ensure that the school had much-needed supplies and money, that the computer equipment was functioning well and that they assisted in decision-making, among other things.
“The Principal and staff of the school extend a hearty thank you ... Your presence and presents will be greatly missed,” she said.
She stated that the couple’s children were extremely ambitious and had excelled in all areas of school life. She urged them to remain focused in Canada and to aim at success.
Mr. and Mrs. Webster have been associated with Weblinks, the locally-owned telecommunications company.
