ATA ESTABLISHES FOUNDING MEMBERS CLUB Kamique Properties Now Initial Member

The Anguilla Tennis Academy (ATA) has announced that it will establish a Founding Members Club for a limited number of individuals and villa rental properties. Founding Members will be provided not only with a wide range of usage benefits within the ATA, but also with a chance to participate in and be recognised as part of the initial sponsorship group to establish the Academy.

Kamique Properties, the developers of a luxury villa to be opened in Anguilla in 2007, have joined the ATA to create the framework for the Founding Members Club and have committed to one of the fifty limited Founding Memberships to be offered.
The ATA designed the Founding Members Club to take advantage of the many activities and facilities it will have to offer. These include court time, group/private lessons, access to all facilities and an opportunity to be part of the larger sport and community development programmes the ATA will lead for Anguilla’s youth.
“We have been intrigued and impressed with the ATA’s efforts in developing a first-class tennis facility that will help foster more youth sports and community-oriented programmes for Anguilla,” said Ira Brown, Managing Director of Kamique Properties. “The Founding Members Club is a unique opportunity for us to take part in the Academy and additionally offer our guests access to the wide range of programmes and facilities the ATA has to offer.”
Mitch Lake, Director of the ATA, who is understandably enthusiastic about the programme, commented: “I am excited about the Founding Members campaign and I am certain that with the participation of villas, hotels and interested individuals in the community a substantial sponsorship base will be formed to make the facility a reality. I applaud Kamique Properties for their participation and encourage other villas to get involved in this worthwhile endeavour that will provide hope and opportunity for our children.”
The benefits for the Founding Members are as follows: waiving of court usage fees with rights extended to all guests of member properties and individual members; priority court advance booking up to two weeks; weekly clinics, group and private lessons at member rates with rights extended to all guests and immediate family individuals; player-match-making services; preferred sponsorship opportunities with first options to participate in ATA events; and recognition with a prominently-displayed plaque listing Founding Members.
The fees are US$5,000 for membership in the Founding Members Club payable by individuals, hotels and rented villas and annual membership dues of US$100 per year for the first five years. Dues may be adjusted thereafter, but offered at preferential rates to Founding Members. Membership will be limited to fifty individuals and properties.
