Superstar On Reef


An event which went on reported was that the racing boat Superstar struck a reef just minutes before completing the August Tuesday race at Island Harbour.

The Superstar was one of three boats in leading positions and was heading to win the race when it unfortunately got on the reef just north of Scilly Cay.

By that time the Satellite raced towards the winning position.

Other boats in the rear went to the assistance of the Superstar and was able to free it from the reef.
