ANGUILLA’S DEBATING
TEAM COMMENDED

Dear Sir:

Anguilla offers many gifts to visitors not all having to do with sun, sea, beaches, fine restaurants and friendly people.

We felt privileged to be able to attend the 33rd Annual Leeward Islands Debating Competition hosted this year in Anguilla.

The level of the competition was extremely high. The topics were contemporary and meaningful.

The Anguillian team articulated their logical arguments in a creative manner that was thrilling and inspiring.

We wish to thank all the students, coaches, sponsors and supporters for a wonderful week of intellectual stimulation. We congratulate the winning team [Anguilla] for their outstanding presentations.
