Speaking for the new owners of the property, Jeff Smith of the Kor Realty Group announced that the Company was proud to begin their project ahead of schedule. “We are pleased to have begun the demolition phase four months ahead of schedule and happy that Mr. Harrigan could move his crew on-site so quickly,” he said. “We have committed to the Government of Anguilla to build a first class resort property in a manner keeping with the tourism market that Anguilla has developed, and we intend on doing so in an expedited manner in order to allow all to benefit from the inclusion of Viceroy Anguilla in Anguilla’s up-scale tourism market.”

Chief Minister Osbourne Fleming stated that he was very pleased with the Company’s expedited actions. “Starting four months ahead of schedule, and contracting with local companies, shows that the Kor Realty Group is truly intent on helping Anguilla to enhance its position as a world class destination point for the up-scale tourism market, and is doing so with the use of Anguillian companies,” Mr. Fleming observed.

The Kor Realty Group will fully demolish the existing Coccoloba Resort, and subsequently Meads Bay Hideaway Condominiums, to make room for the luxurious Viceroy Anguilla Resort, once again making the point of land joining Barnes Bay and Meads Bay into a truly beautiful site. The project, when completed will include a luxury boutique hotel, spa facility, tennis courts, clubhouse, restaurants, swimming pools, lavish estate villas, and condominiums. The management of resort will be by The Kor Group’s flagship hotel operations, Viceroy Hotel.
