Tourism Student Performs Well
|
Former Visitor Services Assistant with the Anguilla Tourist Board, Ms. Chrislyn Connor, has recently returned to the island after successfully completing studies leading to the award of an Associate Degree in Travel and Resort Marketing from the State University of New York at Cobleskill.
Ms. Connor, who graduated with a cumulative grade point average of 3.81, was one of four students from the Class of 2003 to be presented as Honours Programme Graduates. Her consistently high academic performance has earned her a $10,000.00 fraction scholarship and her outstanding interpersonal and communication skills contributed to her selection as a student Ambassador at the college from 2002.
Ms. Connor will resume her studies later this year: this time at the prestigious Johnson and Wales University in Miami, where she will be completing studies leading to the award of a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management.
