Two Anguillian women were honoured on Mother’s Day at the Maranatha Methodist Church at Blowing Point during a ceremony chaired by Mrs. Eudine Romney.

Mrs. Olga Romney Mother Of The Year
|
Mrs. Olga Romney was named Mother of the Year. Her eldest son lives in Holland where he obtained a BA Degree in Civil Engineering. Her two other sons live and work at home with their father Dennis Romney, a well-known building contractor.
Olga Romney is a regular church-goer, choir member and treasurer of the Maranatha Women’s League. She has been described as a very loving, kind and outgoing person.

Mrs. Vivian Niles Grandmother Of The Year

Mrs. Vivian Niles was named Grandmother of the Year. She is the mother of four children, one daughter and three sons. All of them are graduates in medicine, theology, education and biology.
Mrs. Niles is a regular church member and is a very quiet, kind and gentle person.
