She is Ms. Jeri Aretha Richardson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Euroy Richardson, and the sister of Lawyer Dawne Richardson of North Hill. Her application was made in the High Court on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 by Caribbean Juris Chambers, where she was a pupil. Ms. Richardson was admitted to the Bar by Madam Justice Louise E. Blenman.

PUBLIC SERVANTS BENEFIT FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING

A four-day workshop on Customer Service Excellence for some 80 Public Officers in Anguilla, drawn from all ministries and departments, was held this week. In addition, ten Senior Officers attended a separate training sessionto serve later on as certified customer service trainers.
The June 27-30 workshop, at Masara Resort, Katouche, was a collaborative initiative by the Department of Public Administration in Anguilla, the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Cooperation & Governance and the Institutional Development Division.

The Anguilla Teachers’ Union, which comprises some 250 members, with Emma Ferguson as President, has laid out to Government its various concerns about taxation, cuts in salaries and the high cost of living. In the words of ATU member, Michelle Queeley, those were issues which “plague our nation’s most noble body of educators.”
