A successful two-week swimming programme for 24 children and four adults was recently completed. The Anguilla Community Foundation filled in its thermometer located in the Valley, between the Post Office and Cable and Wireless on Wednesday, 24th August. It was decided by the Foundation that the amount of $12,500 should be displayed on the thermometer to show the Anguillian community what they have already received in donations for the ‘Anguilla Cares’ campaign which was created to provide funds for the Foundation to make grants to NGOs and to support issues of concern on the island.
