The Fourth Anniversary of the Good News Herald, a monthly religious newspaper printed in St. Maarten and circulated in various Caribbean islands, was celebrated in Anguilla with a Thanksgiving Service at the Church of God (Holiness) on December 4. The programme was chaired by Pastor Jerome Harrigan who also gave the welcome, while the Invocation was delivered by the Minister responsible for the Church, Pastor Philip Gumbs.

A vegetable farmer in Anguilla is getting good results from his agricultural gardening and is a leading supplier to the local market. He is Prince Jahkeda who resides at Rey Hill but has his Organic Valley Farms at The Quarter, just down from his residence.
He turned up at The Anguillian showcasing a six-and-a-half pound head of fully-developed cauliflower which was only a small fraction of a mixed crop of vegetables waiting to be harvested.
