Former Anguillian educator, Hubert Ashton Gumbs, was laid to rest in St. Mary’s Anglican Churchyard Cemetery following a Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday afternoon, August 1. He died at the Princess Alexandra Hospital on July 21. He would have celebrated his 74th birthday on September 11.

He majored in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. Rudy graduated Cum Laude having maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.68. He was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society in 2005.
