Two telecommunications companies, AT&T and Digicel, have submitted bids to the Anguilla Government for mobile licences in the 1900 megahertz band. This is the last of three cellular service licences to be made available. It is not expected that any more will be offered for at least five years, according to Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications, Kenn Banks.

NBA’s Bill Payment feature is the latest feature added to NBA’s 24-hour telephone banking service. In addition to receiving information on their NBA accounts or transferring funds between accounts with NBA’s Telebanking Service, customers now have the added convenience of paying their ANGLEC bills.

Weblinks, a local teleommunications company and Digicel, a company with branches in various parts of the Caribbean, have submitted bids for a licence to supply a 1,800 megahertz mobile service in Anguilla.
