Chlamydia infection is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases. This disease occurs most often among sexually active adolescents and young adults. Although it can be successfully treated if diagnosed in its early stages, complications from this disease can be very serious and longlasting.

Interim Report Submitted to Minister

The interim report for the establishment of a Health Authority in Anguilla was presented to the Minister of Social Development, Eric Reid, on Monday December 2. The presentation was made by Dr. Phyllis Fleming-Banks, Chairperson of the Health Authority Project Board set up at the request of the Government almost two years ago.

A Network Building Workshop to further strengthen the Multi-Agency Committee on Domestic Violence in Anguilla was held this week at the Teachers’ Resource Centre.

This is a serious mental illness that occurs in many countries including Anguilla. Approximately 45 million people worldwide of all cultures have this condition.
